Emotions in motion: This is the exercise I talk about in the workshop. Stop your self-sabotage by giving your emotions the freedom to move. This is great when working with unwanted eating AND self-sabotage behaviours.

The Gift of Our Compulsions by Mary O’Malley. This is my absolute favourite book for learning how to think about any kind of behaviour you think of as out of your control, unwanted, or compulsive. Mary O’Malley teaches the wisdom of seeing the gifts and messages in this behaviours, and helps you arrive at the lessons these things can teach you if only you can listen. It’s powerful book, wonderfully written, and really very touching.

Why Weight? A Guide to Ending Compulsive Eating by Geneen Roth. This is a really in-depth and explorative workbook from a binge eating expert. Geneen Roth combines wonderful insight with prompting journalling questions to get you exploring sides of yourself you’ve probably never connected before. If you’d like to try doing some inner work at your own pace, this can be a super-awesome guide.
